One thing that makes it easier for me and my family when we go to Disney World is that we already have a hotel that we love and we don’t mind paying to be at (SHADES OF GREEN). Going to Disney Land we don’t have a hotel that we just love and want to go back to every year. So this post is going to show you how we norrow down our options for picking a hotel.
One thing that plays a big part is the cost of the hotel. How we calculate how much we wanna pay is base on how long we are going to be there (week), how many rooms we need to pay for (almost 2 rooms), we also like to have two beds in the room for the parents and for the kids, if there is a limit on how many people can be in a room (no more than 5 in most hotel). We also like to be on the first floor because my parents don’t walk very well, and because the kids can be loud as well and be running around playing. My dad has reward cards for hotel rooms so we always check that to see if he may have a free room. Also the location because we are going to be doing a lot of driving we don’t want to have to drive extra miles.
What do we need to in the hotel. Most of the time we want to have a swimming pool for the kids. We want to have continental breakfast, because you are going to be gone for 8 or more hours.
Parking, if there is a fee, or no fee. is there enough parking or is it jam packed. One thing that I liked about parking is that I like levels so you can remember what level your car is on.
after all that is done we start checking the web and see reviews and see how customer have liked the stay at the hotel. Most hotel have the whole year available when you are trying to look for a hotel room.
One thing we also check is to see if there is a shuttle that will take and pick you up from the parks, because taking a shuttle does help with the cost of parking to go to the parks.
Well I'm a mother of two and I enjoy taking my kids to Disney World, and making so many memories with them. What I enjoy about going to these places. Everything will be about the magical places of visiting them.
